My speech at best friends wedding

Ok I will keep this short so those of you who do understand me don't get bored and wander off, if you do feel the need to wander anywhere try the bar and mines a large whisky and ginger.

So where to start well the beginning is an obvious place.

I was 21 when I first met Keri and she wouldn’t allow me to buy her a drink because apparently she had one already.

Dam I was 21 you do know that means I have known you half my life.

Well what can I say about this amazingly remarkable woman I have known for half my life?

I will start by saying Keri I have never seen you look as radiantly happy and beautiful as you do just now so obviously Mike you’re doing something right.

I know our friendship has been unorthodox and I am sure to a majority of people strange but I for one would not change a thing.

You are my family, my friend and one of the very few people I trust without reservation and you have been stuck with me right from the day when Scott, John and Penny decided that you were now one of the gang. Oh and yes you’re Riley's favorite Aunt and Tuckers new best friend.

It took you coming across the ocean for you to find your Mr. Right and standing here looking at the two of you it is obvious that you were made for each other.

I am so happy that the two of you found in each other that remarkable bond and spark that has led you here today.

Thank you both for always being there for me and mine I love you both and count myself lucky and blessed to have you in my life.

Oh and thank you for not making me wear a dress
